The facilities for motorcyclists are superb, with secure parking, cleaning and some maintenance facilities, even little garages for motorcycles for £2/night that might be useful if the weather is bad. Also drying facilities for clothes although I did not need this. The advice on routes will make this a future touring centre for me. The room was comfortable with en-suite bath/shower and tea/coffee facilities. The food was tasty with a good selection at breakfast. The staff were really helpful and friendly.

The hotel was well situated right in the middle of town and there is free parking directly outside. We arrived just after 8pm and the kitchen was about to close but they allowed us to order. The room was very spacious and clean.

A fantastic find, gorgeous cottage in the centre of Moffat. Really thoughtful hosts, lots of little touches and attention to detail. Surprisingly spacious downstairs and up, and right in the town for bars and eating. Great venue for walking, you can literally access country walks within ten minutes of the front door. We also parked right outside for free for the duration, failing that there is free parking within 50m. Totally recommend, property and hosts’ comms were both first class.

Very central, easy to find, minutes walk from the Main Street. Plenty of free parking. Very clean and tidy. Bed very comfortable, bathroom well laid out.

A single night stay. Check-in is done at the bar, which can be a bit busy, but was easy from the booking. Rooms are upstairs which has outside stair access as the main photo shows. Consider this if less able. Room was large and had the usual toiletries and tea/coffee facilities. An evening meal was of good quality and I would suggest booking in advance as both guests and local diners make it busy. A large gravel car park gives free parking with a few campervans allowed to stay as guests.
