Very warm welcome from staff. The room was spacious, warm and very comfortable with quality bedding and pillows. Very good shower, great cooked breakfast, with choices, and free parking. Nice and quiet, away from the main towns, supermarket and fuel across the road. Central access to island sights. Highly recommend.

We chose to be away from town. Rural was good for us and only short drive to ammenities with a car. Well equipped, and the supplied bread and milk were appreciated nice touch. Very clean and well maintained with homey touches.

A wonderful destination for your time in Kirkwall. We explored the island for 3 days an spent two nights in the royal,oak guesthouse. Everything was prepared in a perfect way, a nice and new build room with all details for a comfortable stay, nearby to the city and in walking distance to Highland Park destillery. we enjoyed the light options for the night and the bathroom, this is as you like it at home. a nice breakfast, fresh fruit, tea and coffee as we prefer it, we enjoyed our whole stay very much, Thank you

The accommodation was spacious and very comfortable with everything you needed. The deck was great for sitting out and having dinner and taking in the fantastic views of the countryside! We loved that it was so quiet and peaceful. Highly recommend the Rymmon Retreat if you're looking for somewhere comfy and peaceful to stay on Orkney!

Loved the location, parking was great. We had everything we required so it made our few days very pleasant. We were left a basket with biscuits and bread, fridge had milk and small butter pats, a lovely touch. Cleaning materials were in the cupboard for our use. All in all a very considerate host.

Great compact apartment. Everything was very clean and convenient, and well supplied. The location was very good for both the neolithic sites and Kirkwall. There is a good supermarket in Kirkwall (10 minutes by car). There are some nice walks for the evening, and the parking is easy. The Wifi worked well, and the washer is modern and easy to use. This was a good break from B&B allowing us to eat more lightly and save some money.

Everything spotlessly clean conveniently located for access to main Sromness to Kirkwall Road with good store nearby. Fridge and also TVs in bedroom as well as living area. Basic tea coffee bread milk and biscuits left for us. Received call saying key left at the property open on arrival. Lots of parking room . Good shower and toiletries a nice touch

Wonderful accommodation that included all the essentials for preparing your own meals. Place is modern and exceptionally clean. The washing machine was very welcome to have. This was ideal for my husband and I to do our explore of Orkney Island. Plenty of room for parking and great location.
