We had a great room looking out over the garden and the mountains in the distance, bathroom was also big with underfloor heating. Bar area had an open fire and a wide selection of whiskies, food - both breakfast and dinner were also good. Able to walk around the grounds and wish we had more time to explore local walks.

Beautiful apartment, tastefuly decorated. The owner put a lot of heart in it. From the conservatory you can enjoy bucolic views of grazing sheep and greenery. There is a fully equipped shared kitchen. We really enjoyed staying there.

Everything about the chalet was perfect - it was sparkling clean, luxurious, modern, cosy, and so comfortable. We really wish we could've stayed for longer. We loved the super king sized bed as we had the most comfortable and restful sleep. The water pressure and temperature control in the shower was exceptional, and the private sauna was easy to get going and so relaxing. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you could need including premium and stylish appliances, quality kitchenware and a dishwasher. The location was accessible but secluded, it was so lovely being surrounded by nature. Check in was also easy and convenient with the lockbox. There were so many really thoughtful touches in the chalet, Lorna has really considered it all and we really appreciated the attention to detail to everything. We loved the design and functionality of the chalet - one of the best places we've ever stayed and we'd love to return in future!

This little family run business in the middle of the Highlands was by far my favourite place to stay at on our trip. The location in the middle of nowhere is super cute, if you are looking for a more quiet place instead of a city, this is the one for you. The rooms are absolutely adorable and wonderfully spaceous, and there is a bar, a lounge to hang out, and a breakfast room, where you can get a freshly made proper Scottish Breakfast that we enjoyed a lot! The owner was also super nice, we felt incredibly welcomed and super safe, and there was even some local artists' work on display for you to purchase if you'd like. I definitely recommend staying there!

The photos do not do Rowan cottage justice. It is a magical place where upon arrival you immediately feel relaxed and content. The cottage itself is charming and the location is magnificent. I would not hesitate to return.
