Janey is an exceptional host. From the very beginning I felt really welcomed. Burnside is a lovely place to stay. My room was very spacious with an extremely comfortable bed, an excellent view overlooking farmland and the Firth of Clyde. The breakfast was sensational. The perfect start to the day. As a holiday cottage for two people, it's perfect. everything was the right mix of being both modern and clean, whilst maintaining character and atmosphere. There were a lot of little touches that made it feel like a lot of thought and care had gone into every detail. One of the nicest and best prepared self-catering places we've used. We felt thoroughly relaxed and at home(away from home).
