Location was ideal for ferry the next morning and the town is beautiful. We walked to shell. Beach, Tarbert Castle and had a delicious dinner. Walking was easy. We had the ensuite family room and it was perfect for the 3 of us.

Andrew was so welcoming and good fun. We had driven for 7 hours and had caught 2 ferries- we needed to be welcomed with a big smile open and we were. Andrews house is immaculately clean, he’s thought of everything. excellent breakfast - full til tea time. House close to the centre walking distance to shop/cafe. Pooches are so sweet

Andrew met us on arrival and showed us around quickly before leaving the place to us. Him and Iona have been easily contactable and super lovely. The place was clean, cosy and had lots of extra goodies on arrival for us. The views were amazing and I wouldn’t hesitate coming back!

It is truly a hidden gem. The estate is located conveniently near important historical places, beautiful hiking spots and in short distance to Lochgipelhead, so restaurants, shops and pubs are just a few minutes away. The house is quiet and very comfortable. It has all facilities and features needed for comfortable and relaxed holidays. The owners thought about their guests every need.
