This place is wonderful and service and staff exellent. I spent my birthday there and had a magical stay. Even if the interior of the hotel is old that is part of the charm, the hotel is beautiful both inside and the surrounding. Everything was very clean and the food in the restaurant was very good. The room was spacious and with a beautiful view. My best birthday so far. Hope I can come back there soon.

We stayed in the quaint Games keeper’s house. Our stay was excellent, comfortable and very memorable. We made ourselves at home and were sad to leave this location. We explored the surrounding Chateau’s in the mornings and then spent each afternoon by the swimming pool until dinner. The main restaurant is fine dining with French cuisine. There is also a snack menu which is really good and we had this a couple nights as dinner on the terrace of the hotel.

What an eye for detail. From the softness of the towels with the logo stitched on it, the room key ring, the cushions and the soap in the bathroom, to the delicious home made yoghurt, the eggs and jams for breakfast. And also the possibility to charge our car (no fast charger). The bed is great as well as the bathroom. The family owning the mansion is lovely and doing their utmost to please their guests. We loved getting a peak of their daily lives watching the children in their pyjama's on this early Sunday morning. The behaved great, they we're even hushing to not disturb us Do not forget to read the story behind the life choices of the family in the room guide. It's worth it. We spent one night and could not follow the tips but I'm sure they are worth trying. We would not doubt returning when. We are in the neighborhood again

Everything was perfect. The staff was very friendly, the environment was comfortable and intimate, the decor was beautiful, and it was amazing to soak in the jacuzzi while it was raining. This stay was an unforgettable experience for me. The hotel's dinner was also very delicious, the chef was handsome, and the ingredients were very fresh, sourced from the forest, private garden, and local suppliers. Surrounded by the forest at night and awakened by nature in the morning, it felt like we rediscovered our inner peace! We will definitely come back if we have the chance in the future!

A stay in a French chateau has always been on our bucket list and we took the opportunity during our recent French roadtrip. D'artigny was located ideally near places we were visiting in the Loire, with ample free parking, restaurant and facilities with plenty of character and history.
