We thoroughly enjoyed our three-night stay, sleeping in an excellent bed in a spacious room, and savoring the delicious breakfasts, picnics, and dinners. The surroundings are peaceful and charming, right at the edge of the French Ardennes and beneath the beautiful town of Sedan, home to the largest fortified castle in Europe. There is so much to see and explore in the area. Add to that the warm hospitality of Martine and Rudi—who speak French, perfect English, and some Dutch—and you quickly realize there’s no better place to be.

The homely atmosphere. The hosts makes effort to decorate the house and rooms with personal and welcoming touches like small flowers in vases.. A very lovely breakfast with fresh bread, eggs, cheese, ham and salmon and lots of fruits. Beautiful quiet surrounding. Host Ann is super helpful. She waited for us for late check in.

Wonderful stay. Spent the night here at the end of a long road trip and the hosts were so friendly. They helped us get a reservation at a nice restaurant in town and provided and a filling breakfast directly to our rooms. The rooms were comfortable and quiet despite being next to the road. I wish we could have stayed longer.
