Everything! Caroline, the host, was fantastic. She explained the history of Le Clos de L’agneau while we sat in the courtyard drinking champagne she provided. The attention to detail in the presentation of the property was stunning. Super comfortable bed. Luxurious towels. The highlight was the breakfast.

We really loved this place! The castle is so beautiful inside and out, and so is the garden. What’s even better is the staff. They are all super kind and treated us so well, sharing stories and doing whatever they could to make us comfortable during our stay. They cooked us dinner, and it was definitely worth the money. The owners are very kind and helpful to settle my worry in my fault in lossing the key, he is very generous in offering help. The breakfast is delicious with home-made jams and ample. The common area room and outdoor sitting are comfortable and very functional. Also it has excellent wifi connection. I will come again if we visit Epernay again.

The restaurant meal was fabulous and good value. The staff spoke excellent English and had a great knowledge of wine to recommend. The secure parking and large grounds were also of benefit to me.

Great new, large and comfortable apartment, close to the town centre and with easy parking options. The breakfast was very basic but it was very cheap so we were not expecting a lot.

The apartment is excellent, lots of space and all you would need as it is very well equipped. The car park is excellent as it is secure and attached to the apartment block. The bathroom is excellent, modern and the shower is powerful and hot. The beds are comfortable and the whole apartment was spotless. The shutters provide excellent black out for the light, and the location is close to town but very quiet overnight and in the morning. The kitchen is well equipped and well thought out. An excellent apartment for overnight stay and for longer visits. Excellent value for money. The proprietor left excellent notes about where to eat out etc.. there is a lift as the apartment is on the 3rd floor. Clear instructions for self access.
