“Awesome place” is a big understatement. It’s very cozy, clean, in a great place, and the view is unmatched. It’s exactly as you see in the pictures. You walk in as if you walked into your home - your name is on your door and the key is inside. It makes for a very welcoming and trustworthy feeling. I unfortunately didn’t get to meet the staff as I was only there for one day, however they seem very welcoming and nice. I was traveling there during Easter, and they gave me a heads-up that most stores / cafes would be closed, so I can plan accordingly. Definitely shows they care about your experience! Loved it. Hope I’ll be back soon.

Check in was comfortable, the cottage was clean with a lovely view and there was everything you might need to prepare an easy meal. There was even a box with leftovers after previous guests, where we found some useful things (pasta, oil, ketchup, shampoo etc).

Very beautiful old house with a grass roof, lovingly renovated. The house is fully equipped. It is located in the middle of Midvagur next to an ancient house and opposite the church and a small park. It is only a short walk to the sea, the next stores and into the hills. The starting point of the walk to the famous "lake above the sea" is only a few minutes away. The distance to the airport is about 10 minutes by car. You can reach the capital Torshavn by car via the subsea tunnel in about 45 Minutes.
