Hotelli Toivola is perfectly located close to forest with hiking/ skiing paths. It takes 25 min to the centrum of Kemi. The room was tidy and spacious, the stuff was very friendly. They stored our bags on new year night, which we spent in Rovaniemi, and put it to our room, which was the same (bigger) room! That was very nice of them. Also they provide many recommendations. The breakfast had many options, and was tasty. There is kitchen and unlimited coffee, tea and hot chocolate in the hotel, which is very practical in winter. We also enjoyed the sauna.

Everything was great. A perfectly equipped apartment with everything you need; the owner has thought of everything. He was very helpful when my flight was delayed and I arrived at night. Comfortable, quiet, with shops within walking distance. After a trip to the observatory, I was happy to have a hot sauna. I recommend it and would love to come back.
