Little cottage like house, basic ammenities but well equipped. Everything super clean. Cute area with other cottages and a little river. Would definetly need a car to get around as the nearest restaurant is a 15 min drive to the next town, but that's what Finland is like! Host was very nice and offered to prepare the sauna every day.

What a wonderful place! I stayed here, and the host is such a warm-hearted guy! He runs the grocery store in the summer, which also offers snacks, refreshing coffee, and everyday necessities. I think it's great to support small shops like these, as there are so many of them. Delicious local products are also available. They also offer simple overnight stays. The accommodation is simple, but exactly what I was looking for. It was warm, clean, and welcoming. Jani is a great guy who even showed me around and did everything he could to make me feel comfortable. Even though it wasn't advertised, there was breakfast, and we enjoyed the sunrise. For me, one of the most wonderful vacation experiences. So, if you don't insist on luxury but want to support a local and experience so many good things in return, then this is the place for you and you'll be rewarded with a super original little place and accommodation near the beautiful Iso Melkutin. So, from my point of view, it's a great place for a stopover or an overnight stay. Kiitos

Excellent and healthy food (I had päivällinen and aamiainen). Staff super helpful and nice. Surrounded by nature, and a lot of opportunities to be active. The room was clean. Pic shows view from the restaurant.

Great little cabin by a quiet lake. The location was really beautiful and felt really private. Very traditional mökki facilities + extras such as the hot-tub, although not used by us, this is a luxury in Finnish cabins. Surrounded by stunning national parks, I'd come back any day!

Our room had a separate bedroom and a kitchen with a refrigerator and a microwave. FREE breakfast included traditional Finnish breakfast with fruit juices, coffee, tea and both hot and cold foods like cereals, roasted potatoes with bacon, karjalapiirakka (Finnish specialty), eggs, cold cuts and different cheeses and yogurt. Both lactose free and gluten free breads were included. Free SAUNA was provided in the evening and it was an absolutely wonderful experience - super clean SAUNA, clean towels and shampoo and soap were provided. Showers were located just outside of the SAUNA for easy rinse off. The owners were very attentive and helpful. Nature paths and walkways are locate just outside of the hotel making it easy to do your morning or evening walk. Town center with restaurants showcases a historic Old Water Mill and is less than 10 minutes away. This hotel is an older hotel but super clean and offers great value for your money.
