The owner Viktor was very welcoming, telling stories of Lapland and helping where needed. He encouraged us to go outside and experience the deep arctic winter at -30 degree Celsius, even making a camp fire on the frozen lake in the polar night. There are also two saunas that we got to enjoy. The charm of the old school is well preserved and the common room with its kitchen is very cozy with its own fireplace. When our car didn’t want to start from the extreme cold, Viktor immediately helped and got it going again.

Everything was fantastic! Friendly host, spacious modern cottage with sauna. And for us the most important thing: dogs were welcome to stay in the cottage and the car could be parked right next to the cottage door. Good surroundings to walk dogs and shops + petrol station close by.

Hosts are really nice, it felt like we are meeting friends. It was interesting to talk with them, it felt much more like a unique experience rather than just have a place to stay. BTW, we didn't notice a remark that we are going to stay in the house where hosts are also living. However, it turned out as a wonderful experience. I hope they didn't get to owerwhelmed with our big family. 😅

Cozy Guesthouse was the perfect place for our short stay. Good location - able to walk into shops , pretty views, comfy beds, fast wifi (kids review), convenient off street parking… lots to like!!

We really enjoyed the authentic atmosphere in Pallas. I wouldn't change anything about the hotel. It was everything we dreamed of and even more. The location is perfect for a ski holiday (we did cross country) and for relaxing in a beautiful landscape.
