What a lucky find. It's an ideal place for a stop over. The room was clean and comfortable, and the owner spoke English, so it's very handy. It's just off the motorway, and the price is very good. Nice food is also available. It's well worth a visit.

This is probably my 3rd or 4th stay at San Isidro.. It's a great overnight stop driving south after getting off the ferry at Santander or Bilbao. A gated motel right next to the motorway with about 80 rooms in cosy log cabins with parking right outside each cabin. Family run, it has a restaurant/bar on site. All cabins are generously sized with amazing spa showers.

The peace and quiet, surroundings. The food in the restaurant was superb. Staff were very friendly. I booked one night but ended up staying two, just so relaxing!! I travel by motorcycle and there was so much space for parking, i was almost outside the front door of the hotel and could see my bike from my room window.

The rooms were comfortable with large comfortable beds. The toiletries were fabricated by them. The food was fantastic. The staff were friendly, professional and helpful. The wine was lovely. We were given 2 bottles of wine free of charge on checking out.

The location is wonderful. Views for miles from the hill top. The pools are great to relax around with a fridge on hand to keep your drinks cool. The villagers are really friendly and the host, Ricardo, is such a nice guy. His suggestions for excursions were spot on. This has been the most relaxing, stress free holiday in such a long time. This was perfect for our journey from the ferry at Santander to southern Spain. Just off the motorway. Perfect for travelling with pets. The better have found.
