Host walked over to meet us en route from the train station, so so nice! Went above and beyond. He was nice, friendly and thorough in showing us round the property and the area- top class! My friends were thrilled with the food (especially the lovely pears!) that he left. We were just staying overnight, then starting our Camino, we all would've love to have been there for a few nights.

Fully furnished and equipped modern 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment on the Plaza del Gral. Santocildes and close to the Plaza Espana. Less than a 10 minute walk to the Cathedral and Gaudy Palace and Museum. The woman at the nearby check-in hotel (Eurostars Via de la Plata) spoke English very well and was very helpful. I am walking part of the middle part of the Camino with my son and this is by far the best accommodation we have stayed at and at a better price than some inferior accommodation. Truely 4 star accommodation. I rarely give a full 10 in any review, but this deserves 10 out of 10.

Juan, the owner, was lovely, a proper Spanish gentleman, welcoming, and very friendly. The location was amazing, close to everything, and safe, secure parking on site was perfect. The hotel had 11th generation family history and was so interesting to see various historical artefacts. Would definitely stay again and recommend. The gardens and surroundings were pretty too

The apartment was spacious, very comfortable and fully equipped. It is right in the heart of old Astorga. We stayed one night and have no complaints. There was free, guarded parking near the hotel, but you have to climb some steps. So drop off your luggage at the hotel before you park the car. You can park on the plaza right in front of the hotel for 15 minutes. No problem at all. The apartment is about 3 minutes from the hotel and easily accessible with your key card.

Good location, free parking in the affiliated Eurostars Hotel. Clean and comfortable, on a square with a handy supermarket opposite. Dolce Gusto coffee machine. Good for a couple of nights.

The apartment was amazing, ultra modern, clean and bright. It had excellent wifi. It was ideally situated in the centre, and pretty quiet too, also close to shops/restaurants etc. It was only a short walk to the Palacio Gaudí which was one of the reasons for our trip. It was a simple process to check in via the Eurostars a short walk down the road and the free parking at the hotel was a bonus. Will definitely book again when visiting. 👍

Great location. Front entrance onto the main square. Triple glazing ensured no noise disturbance. Large clean, comfortable room. Bathroom with a tub, which is great for a soak after a day's riding. Secure underground parking reached by lift.

This is a fabulous small hotel, a home for over 300 years which still retains all it’s traditional features. It is like stepping back in time into a previous era. The staff are friendly, there is secure parking and it is perfectly positioned for exploring Astorga, an easily walkable town, to view all the sights of which there are many. If you are looking for a peaceful hotel full of character where guests are treated respectfully don’t hesitate to book Posada Real Casa de Tepa.
