The special attention prior and upon arrival by Marta, the owner, was exceptional. Welcome lemonade, tour of the property and sharing of personal stories, followed by a wonderful surprise dinner menu after we got to have a walk in town and enjoy the pool at sunset made the first day simply perfect! We loved how Marta also incorporates wonderful local produce into her menu and for breakfast, (apart from the delicious home made goodies!). The pool is so serene, fresh, salt water and has the perfect position to enjoy sun all day, right until the sunset! Marta also gave us great recommendations for places to visit nearby on our onward journey, though we really would have loved to simply stay at her hotel a little longer! We will definitely be back!

A wonderful, relaxed setting in a remote, friendly place. The host was so welcoming and makes a fantastic pumpkin soup! We enjoyed the slightly eccentric nature of the village and you just go with the flow.
