Picked up at the airport and dropped off, by the owner which was really convenient. Less than 10 mins walk to local restaurant for dinner. Less than 10 mins walk to the temple. I walked to the temple in the dark (5.45am) and felt very safe.

This was the best hotel experience I had in Egypt. I was really worth spending a night in Abu Simbel! The lodge is beautiful and located on the banks of the Nile. The staff was very helpful and served us excellent food. It was also easy to communicate with them before our stay to arrange transport etc.

Osama is very friendly and helpful, you can contact him in advance if you need any extra support from him, like booking tickets or guides. His apartment is clean and tidy, the bedrooms are big. It’s a good choice if you just want to spend one night to fully enjoy Abu Simbel. The apartment is in a quiet place near the downtown area and the temple, easy to buy stuffs in the market or go to local restaurant. Osama also offers a good local breakfast at the time of your request. BTW the market owned by an old couple near the apartment has fair price for water and food.

This is a good budget small hotel. The owner Hany is friendly and helpful for recommendations of the restaurant and tickets for Abu Simbel, parking is next to his house on the safe street. Highly recommended.

This Nubian style hotel was nicely located close to Abel Simbel town and the temples. The well proportioned room had all that was required. No ac or heating was required when we stayed at the end of January. We ate breakfast and dinner on the large terrace which was nice. Parking on site if required
