This was one of the most interesting experiences I've had with a booking.com stay. It's an indigenous community that has a small lodging for tourists. It was comfortable and sufficient in terms of the accommodations. The indigenous ladies are always walking around and love to chat with you. They speak Quichua and some speak Spanish. We were able to chat for a long time with a big group of them and learn about their culture, way of life and families. We hiked up to a hillside with one woman who showed us her cows and different crops. They cooked us their homemade meals and made us feel really welcome. It was an unforgettable experience that I highly recommend. One sweet old grandma always had a little puppy following her around. It was so adorable. When we planned to leave at 4 am, one of the ladies organized a taxi for us. We didn't have enough cash left, so the woman's husband lent us some bills in exchange for a bank transfer super late at night. They continuously went out of their way to help us and show kindness. I will never forget it.

Everything was just perfect! Unfortunately, we stayed only one night, but this place is just great and the hosts could not have been more helpful, the communication was excellent and the coffee was the best ever. This small hotel is not only new (opened three years ago) but also perfectly maintained and super clean. Tucked in a quiet and safe corner, in a short walking distance to a shopping mall (2 mins away), taxis and ATMs, the hotel is also close to the city centre, so we even walked downtown (15 mins) and back in the evening. The beds meet the standards of a four-star hotel, so you can sleep comfortably after chilling in bed watching Netflix and resting before climbing Chimborazo.

Irma, the owner, was the nicest person. We arrived at night really hungry on a day that almost no restaurants were open and she organised us a delivery for dinner and it arrived in less than 15minutes. She was also telling us very interesting stories about the Chimborazo and Riobamba. The beds were comfortable and the twin bedroom was spacious. The shower was amazing. The breakfast was prepared by her and it was one of the best breakfasts I ever had at a hostel. Really delicious and complete!

This place is just pure magic. From the privilege of being alone, to the position at the feet of the beautiful Chimborazo, to the beautiful animals that you can see by just getting out of your room. In 25 days of traveling across Ecuador it was definitely one of the most beautiful and relaxing places we stayed and it was for sure absolutely the best place during our 11 days of travels in the Andes. Special thanks to the staff for being so friendly and professional at the same time. The food was always amazing and really healthy.
