It is an authentic country house furnished with love and special artistic and aesthetic skills. Everything is furnished with vintage items and decorations. A vinyl jukebox from the second half of the 20th century with an excellent record collection is in operation and playing, as well as game boxes from the same period. Well furnished and decorated two bedrooms with separate bathrooms, kitchen, outdoor terrace and balcony. I was pleasantly surprised by the owner's note in Lithuanian language, with contact information, but it's a pity that I didn't get to meet the owner face to face. Entrance to the house with a combination lock. And hungry kittens, which we happily fed. There is a place to parking on the street near the house, but the street is narrow, but there is no problem for cars to pass, because the traffic here is not intense. A must walk in the authentic village of Askai, descending from the mountain, the spirit of a true Cypriot village…

The house is full of history, with beautiful stonework and wooden beams, it’s been lovingly restored. Very comfortable and excellent amenities. Your hosts, the wonderful Androulla & Nikos, really have thought of everything you might need and it’s a real home from home. Askas village is also beautiful with incredible views across the valley. Make sure you walk to the bottom of the village to see the spring and the view back to the house! Thank you Androulla & Nikos for a great experience and your incredible hospitality.

Great location in the mountains. George the host and his family were very welcoming and also took us for a short walk to see the sun setting. Everything you need is at the chalets including the use of bbq and fridge. If you do want to eat out there is a restaurant nearby that George will book for you.

Beautiful appartment in the lovely town of Agros. Located quitely in the outer parts of the town. Mr. Petros warmly welcomes you with fruits and more. He owns the cured meats shop next door and gives you a tour through garden, his winery, and the smoked saussages production+tasting. Great! Agros is a lively town with mainly locals and hence is more authentic, than most of the usual spots in the mountains. Great dining options and activities. The appartment has basically all you need and is good place to stay. Just a few things to improve: * Add some dishes and cutleries, already hard for 2 persons to manage; bowls, cups would be nice * Bedroom had some funny smell, like some sewage pipe was leaking; sure this will be fixed * Kind of fine soot all over the floor, some intense mopping maybe needed

We liked the fact that this place was so unique and not like a typical tourist accommodation. It has a soul and it has the best host in Cyprus! Everything was well thought of, we think that this accommodation was of a very good quality, nothing was missing, many small things ie for cooking, heating food, that can be useful, are in the room. The place is very cozy and very authentic. The house itself is super old but has been repaired to maintain the old charm, while offering the standards of XXI century. The house and the small museum set next door, maintains many old, original details that are characteristic for previous era so the visitors can get some idea how it looked before. Amazing place! Total quietness, tiny village, superb view from the nice, spacious terrace, no tourism present around, beautiful setting and that wonderful man who will host you in his house in Cyprus - a very kind host called Kostas. We were gifted with quite a lot of interesting informations and were not shy to ask questions... Here we found a man with this beautiful heart and about one million skills (incredible but true!) which left us feel happy, fulfilled and inspired. We want to thank Kostas for this special time He gave us!
