Beautiful place, the view is beautiful. They offered us a coconut juice upon arrival. The breakfast was really good, the orange juice was fresh orange juice. There is AC in the tent and a fan, it was cool and smelled really nice. It's surrounded by nature, the shower area was so beautiful, it's outside and you get the full nature experience. There is no bus to el mirador from miramar, so make sure you plan yourself well to get there. I was informed by a local that the taxis from miramar charge 15 000 colones to go to el mirador ( its a 15 minute car ride from miramar to el mirador). If you're leaving from san jose, you have to take a bus from san jose to barranca then you have to take a bus from barranca to miramar. The bus from barranca to san jose, it's roughly 1h30 minutes or 2 hours, depending on the bus and route you take. When we returned to san jose, the bus from miramar to barranca cost us 1000 colones for 2, and the bus from barranca to san jose cost 7000 colones each. It's a very romantic place, we had a good time. Also, make sure you are not bothered by bugs, because at times at night, bugs come inside the tent, spiders, flys, we had to put the AC on and we also closed the lights to prevent more of them from coming inside. If you have anxiety with bugs, spiders, then think carefully, as there will be bugs in the toilet area and inside the tent. It's a unique experience, I really loved it. It was raining when we arrived, so we were laying down, watching the rain, and enjoying the beautiful view. You can see the full moon in the middle of the night, very beautiful moment. Also when you cook, the kitchen is outside, so make sure you buy a mosquito spray because there is a lot of mosquitos in the area or you can just order from local restaurants, cost us 11 000 colones for two meals and that was including delivery.

It is such a special place, peaceful nature and a lot of birds! Amania is a great host and very helpful! We enjoyed our stay a lot!

What a beautiful place , loved everything, the views are amazing, the staff lovely , great size room 2 beds 2 bathrooms. Food in restaurant really tasty, zip lining over the waterfalls fabulous, area around beautiful, lovely pool .

Both the property itself and its surroundings exceeded my expectations. This is one of those rare cases when photos cannot show what it really is like. I will not reveal the details, but it is worth taking the time to thoroughly examine the immediate and distant surroundings! Greetings to the perro ;-)

Carlos carlos carlos...he is as amazing host as the place! We love them all the same.. and also his wife Elena. If you don't stay here you're missing out on life! We didn't want to leave this place. Oh by the way the food was also lovely. He knows what is spicy what you ask him what is spicy! Don't go without the argentina pizza and cas juice! One of our best accommodation out of 100s of countries! Pura Vida!

This isnt just a house, Marcela helped us with so many things. Our lugage was lost on our flight, marcela calmed us down, helped us with calls to the lugage department and after 3 days we got them back. Also becasue of this we arrived very late around 00.00 but she always kept in contact with us making sure we didnt have to worry about anything. The house itself is amazing! Right next to curi cancha and in the gardens around we saw keel billed toucans, hummingbirds and many more. We have stayed in alot of houses in alot of countrys but this was our best experience ever thanks to Marcela. If i could give 100/10 I would. Very clean and comfortable.

This property is absolutely stunning. The owners of the property are both so lovely and welcoming when you arrive. The rooms are huge, very very clean and beautifully decorated. The winner is the garden though, it is absolutely beautiful and such a nice place to relax and spot monkeys and other wildlife. It is about a 3.5km walk to the cloud forest and although it’s a bit out of Santa Elena there are nice restaurants and bakeries next door. There is also a big kitchen that is well stocked with cooking equipment etc. The hosts also provide you with a coffee maker in your room and coffee each day. It’s a really fantastic place to stay.

Lovely accommodation and wonderful super friendly owners. Great access to monteverde parks. The staff was super helpful with great recommendations.

We loved our stay here. Staff super nice and available. Location is amazing, you cannot be any closer to Monteverde national park. Structure was very cute and room super clean. Highly recommended.
