The hostel is situated in a perfect location in the village center. Situated a 80 meters from the main road, so very quiet. Supermarket, bakery, Best Coffee and the company for booking rafting and other tours are at walking distance. In the morning you can hike opposite of the road to the nature reserve for birdwatching; and there are so many species of birds! In the afternoon you can walk to the river and have a swim or dip in to it to cool off. I booked a private room with private bathroom and the rooms are very big, so you can stay with 4 persons. The hostel has a lovely view, expect Ara's and many multicolored birds in the backyard snacking from the banana's. The owner Maria is so warm and friendly, and there are 2 lovely dogs who want to be friends with you as soon as you arrive. The facilities in the kitchen are very good. Everything is super clean and tidy, value for money is superb!

The lodge is situated in the most beautiful environment, surrounded by secondary forest. There's fantastic wildlife within the grounds, and the fruit feeders are replenished several times a day, providing fantastic opportunities to see toucans, tanagers and many other birds, reptiles and mammals. The guided wildlife and birding tours were very educational. The rooms were large, well-appointed and comfortable.

Gorgeous property right in the jungle - absolutely amazing setting. Very welcoming hosts. The Cabin was really clean and the outdoor kitchen was pretty cool. The beds were very comfortable. There was an information booklet in the cabin which had an amazing range of activities, which you can book with the hosts.

Clean, smells good, AC, nice little kitchen, private parking and gated access. Nice people !!! Perfect spot to visit sarapiqui from and more. We stayed only one night as we were transitioning but theres a nice nightwalk (Sarapiqui Xperience) in La Virgen. Cash only:). The bed are comfy of course. The overall look is very satisfying too!

The location is marveĺous, everywhere we are surrounded with flowers, plants and trees. We saw all sorts of animals, aras,monkeys, birds of all colours , enormous iguanas ,it was wonderful ,we also enjoyed the two swimming pools

Awesome stay! Restaurant was delicious and reasonable price. Saw loads of wildlife in the garden. The staff were able to arrange loads of activities as well which was great. The whole place was gorgeous and so well kept.

The hostel is situated in a perfect location in the village center. Situated a 80 meters from the main road, so very quiet. In the afternoon you can walk to the river and have a swim or dip in to it to cool off. I booked a private room with private bathroom and the rooms are very big, so you can stay with 4 persons. The hostel has a lovely view, expect Ara's and many multicolored birds in the backyard snacking from the banana's. The owner Maria is so warm and friendly, and there are 2 lovely dogs who want to be friends with you as soon as you arrive. The facilities in the kitchen are very good. Everything is super clean and tidy, value for money is superb!
