The accommodation is beautiful, situated high on a hill with the most breathtaking view. Ricardo, the owner, puts a lot of love into the property and it is very well maintained. He has gardeners come in everyday for maintenance and the villas are cleaned daily. The villa itself is clean, lots of light and has everything you need. Large king sized bed thats comfortable, chairs to sit outside on the balcony and enjoy the beautiful view, the kitchen is decently equipped. You could hear howler monkeys in the morning which was really cool! The pool area is gorgeous, a perfect place to relax and watch the sunset after a long day. Lots of parking area. If you want beautiful views, then expect to drive uphill on some windy roads to get to this accommodation. It only takes a few minutes and is a two way street so it should in no way defer you from staying here. The road is mainly paved. To access the villas you need a key to the gate which is some added security. If you want peaceful tranquility in a beautiful villa and sorroundings, this is for you!

We felt like guests in the most positive meaning, not like clients. Very friendly staff, great breakfast, clean rooms. You can swim in the pool at night and watch the stars. The hotel has not that many rooms and it never feels crowded. The area around the building is large and you can see wild animals. The location of the hotel itself is on some really steep hills, perfect if you like to hike (otherwise a car or similar is really recommended)

Casa Susen is a slice of heaven, we had a wonderful time staying here for three nights. The room was fully equipped with a kitchen, fridge, fans and wifi. The terrace area was lovely to sit out on and watch the thunder and lightning storm and we enjoyed the peace of the surrounding area. It’s a perfect location with a beach across the road and plenty of bars and supermarkets less than a five minute walk away. The room was cleaned on the second day and the lady was lovely from the start to the end of our stay. Secure parking too.

The host, Gabriel was very friendly and helpful! He was one of the best hosts we have met in our travels. At one point, Gabriel set us up with someone helping put air in our tires (one was low). The 2 pools were also nice. The hotel is not far from walking distance to everything. There is even a small parking lot for the hotel, if you can't find street parking. It doesn't have many spaces, but it's better than nothing, which is the situation for most hotels in town in Montezuma.

The staff was ready for us despite a last-minute booking. they graciously spoke English to us, which was very welcome after a particularly long day traveling. The air conditioner worked wonderfully. The bed and pillows were unexpectedly comfortable and good quality. The attached bath was adequate and had hot water. There was dedicated parking for the hotel, which was helpful as parking is at a premium in Montezuma.

Right on the beach. Next or near excellent restaurants. Supermarket next door. Parking on premises. Gates to room closed at night for added security. Hotel rooms are older but very clean. Refrigerator and coffee pot in the room. Sounds of the ocean were amazing and helped block town night life activities.

the hotel is located in the center of Montezuma and is divided into several houses. We had a room on the 1st floor with balcony and hammock with a beautiful view of the sea. There is actually no breakfast, but you can get coffee, water and fruit at the reception. The beach is only 300m away. Parking right in front of the door. Very nice stuff. Great pool.

- free private parking onsite - great swimming pool cleaned daily - lots of animals to see onsite on the garden or running around in the surrounding area - excellent staff and hosts with superb communication. They provide all the information you require before getting there and also during your stay - fully equipped kitchen - good insulation and protection from bugs and mosquitos.

View was beautiful, breakfast was exceptional, bed was comfortable and Brian the host was really helpful and super nice. We saw white faced monkeys, agoutis, coatis and mot mots from the hotel grounds- AMAZING! The walk over the suspension bridge made the walk to town and beach easy, a troop of monkeys even came across the bridge in the morning. The walk to the waterfall is also from the parking lot of the hotel and free for guests.
