You get what you book : a little container cabin on top of a mountain, with the minimum equipment necessary to your stay - and it is wonderful. The view is breathtaking, there is a large garden where our dog could play, it is very (very) peaceful. upon arrival, we were upgraded to the newer and larger cabin as it was available. It was really perfect for us. The host was super friendly and helpful, he even took us on a hike to a river one day.

Beautiful little guest house surrounded by trees and wildlife. All kinds of birds, butterflies, tree frogs, and howler monkeys. Very tranquil and peaceful. And I was very well looked after by the hosts.

We stayed in 7 different places in Costa Rica and this was our favorite!! The place in incredible, in the middle of nature. The room is a cabin extremely well planned and curated. The hosts are a family that lives nearby and is incredibly helpful (they offered to pick our delivery dinner since they were already heading to town 🥹). Breakfast is with fruit they grow to n the property, and homemade yogurt and pancakes. We loved the whole experience. Worth a detour for sure!!!

We stayed one night in Anita's Cabina on our way to the Caribbean coast. She is very friendly, served us a very good typical breakfast and gave us good information about what to do in Cahuita Park and Puerto Viejo beaches.

we had a very warm welcome and a lovely couple caring for us and our two children. we just stayed one night, I think most do. it was clean and we had everything we needed (small kitchen even). we felt also very safe in the property. the communication with the owner was very good, he helped with everything.

A perfect stop over between Pura Vida Ecolodge and Puerto Viejo on the Caribbean side. We were met with open arms and warm smiles and were incredibly well looked after throughout our short stay. It genuinely felt like we were at home... Incredibly friendly and helpful staff and a really beautiful set up, stunning views, wonderfully kept gardens and basic but comfortable cabins. They even managed to make some tweaks in the kitchen in order to offer us a super tasty vegan evening meal and very yummy breakfast. Gracias Antonio y amigos, we'll be back and for longer next time - seems like there is SO much to explore in the area!
