One of the best accomodations we have ever stayed in! In the middle of nature with incredible views from the balcony. A huge cabin with a fully equipped kitchen, lounge, dining room etc. Even on rainy days it is enjoyable spending time here. It is walking distance from the town and all waterfalls in the area. Excellent communication with Paula who made our stay so comfortable!

I was in doubt when I found out how far from Minca this location is (from Minca bus terminal 45min by moto) but it was one of the best decisions and favorite stays in Colombia! Staff was very kind (Doris and two girls on their workaway, thank you for everything!), I was lucky enough that on the 1th night I was the only one in the dorm (which btw offers amazing view over Sierra Nevada!), food was really good, place is quite,... so make sure you will come for more than one night :)

Stayed here for 3 nights and it was superb! The location and the views are stunning and the ‘nest’ was very bright and cosy with a great big glass window to enjoy the view. We had all food made for us and it was truly delicious made with fresh and locally sourced ingredients. Daniel was incredibly kind and helpful with everything, including last minute requests. We spent the afternoon in the outdoor bathtub watching a rain storm come in and then the sun come back out - it was perfection. The food was delightful and there were plenty of birds. I loved the attention to the history of the land and the indigenous peoples who the owners respect and employ. I was in Colombia for two weeks and was looking for peace and quiet and birds and this spot had it all. I saw at least 50 species around the grounds and the short trail to town.

This place is a gem! From Minca, it takes about 20 min by 4*4 to get there. It's a rough ride but totally worth it! We arrived early in the morning and we got to explore the area and enjoy the facilities. They have a great activities to offer or you can just sit and relax in the pool. The surroundings are astonishing, Sierra Nevada at its best! There is an indigenous village 5min from there too. The staff is amazing, speeks perfect English, witch is rare in the area and can accommodate you with everything, from dinner plans to activities, call a motor bike for you etc.. The rooms are not too large but it's really ok because we wanted to stay outside for as long as possible. The sunset over the mountains is amazing! I cannot recommend enough Mundo Nuevo and definitely will come back someday!

Amazing location very close to the center of Minca. All restaurants and cafes are within walking distance but there was no noise pollution and the hotel was very quiet and relaxing. There is also free parking across the street.

It is a new structure in a good location in the town, so you do not need a jeep type of car to get there. They have a parking place in site which is great, in the main road they will try to make you park in the paid parking lot but ignore it. It is next to a river, and the cafe/restaurant looked nice - although we could not have breakfast there because we left too early.

Beautiful location with views of Santa Marta and just a 5 minute walk to the Main Street with restaurants and shops. Host was extremely kind, responsive, and gave us an intro to all the key places to go in Minca. Facilities were simple but clean and quiet. Many cozy seating options in communal area including hammocks. There are a couple parking spots that a non 4WD car was able to make it to with careful driving

The hummingbirds were amazing. The pool was nice and it was really close to town. The parking was great and one of the few places you could arrive to Minca to by car without a 4x4.
