The place is beautiful, far from the crowds. The rooms are great, the bathroom is beautiful, with the shower in the open air. The ladies who cook are amazing, and the food is great. We loved it!

We came as a family with 2 small children and we all loved it. The hotel is beautiful with a lovely new pool which the children loved and great views. Our room was clean and very spacious. The staff were very friendly and attentive and the food was great. We were going to go to an all inclusive and decided to go to Aura instead. I'm soooooo glad we did this.

I am writing this review from Playa Blanca Baru. One can'' t comprare. In Playa Scondida it was so quiet, so family-like... of course if one likes solitude. The couple who takes care of you- are very nice people, ready to fulfill every wish of yours. All staff were extremely nice and friendly. The place is perfect for 3 days. Thank you for everything.

This is a perfect quiet place to get away. It feels secluded but only a short drive from restaurants and other more tourist orientated beaches. They were happy to turn off any background music in the restuarant/bar area as the place was not busy at the time I stayed. Staff were exceptionally thoughtful and kind - on one occasion I was watching the sunset and they brought out mosquito spray as they knew I would get bitten. When I originally booked the room I messaged to ask if the room had a fridge which it did not. I like to keep my own drinks and snacks supplied. They went to the trouble of plugging in a fridge outside my room which was great. (I'd suggest keeping a guest fridge available ongoing at the location) Air conditioning in the room worked well and the wi-fi was reasonable but sometimes spotty depending on where you were but I never had a problem messaging people or making calls overall. On the beach seating they had plug sockets at the table areas so you could sit and use a laptop if you wanted too.

The location is the best of Barú, beautiful beach with white sand. We love our room with sea view and nice details. The personal was amazing, their arrange everything what you asked them. We went one evening to look at the high-lightning plankton and one day we went to Rosario Islands. Just ask the personal or Alessandro who send us a privat Taxi who picked up from our Hotel in Cartagena to Barú and the driver Fernando was very kind and helpful. The contact was easy and uncomplicated. We’re got the best cocktails from El Chaza with his mobile Bar on the beach. And more of sales are from my country Venezuela 🇻🇪 We recommended Calamari Barú and want to come again!

The place is very basic - like all the places on playa Blanca. This place is definitely one of the best looking places around - in the more quiet area of the beach. Electricity only in the evening and no running water. Decent Wi-Fi. Fantastic location just at the beach. The view from the rooms with sea view are terrific. The rooms at the back are with no windows - go for one of the front rooms. There are Sun beds at all levels. Anderso is amazing - exceptionally friendly, service minded and accommodating. The food is good and reasonably priced - try the grilled fish. They can arrange tours to Isla Rosario and plankton tour. We really enjoyed our 4 days there.
