We loved our stay at Hotel SANHE! The place is beautifully designed, rooms are spacious and look just like the photos. The staff were incredible and the highlight of our stay – super kind, helpful, and arranged all our tours perfectly. Communication was the easiest we had in China. Great location for visiting Zhangjiajie National Park with free shuttle provided by the hotel. Would totally stay here again!

We stayed for three nights in this hotel to visit Zhangjiajie national park and Grand canyon. The staff was very helpful, gave us tips and a marked map to navigate easily in the park. All the reception ladies are very helpful, they made our trip a lot easier. We had a room on the third floor with a balcony. The room was equipped with all the necessities, housekeeping was everyday. Breakfast was in chinese style. Location is optimal, it's around 15 min. walk from the park entrance. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is near the east gate of National Forest Park. It's convenient for both Scenic Area and stations. The location is pretty well and there are also many restaurants nearby. The room is clean with breakfast delicious. Highly recommended!!

Absolutely recommended. The hostel is located very near the park entrance, excellent quality/price ratio. But the real highlight is Wally. He is very kind and, above all, able to give you very useful tourist information on the park and on any needs you have to plan your stay.

Everything was very clean, the environment was pleasant and relaxed. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. The food is various and tasty. The setting around is picturesque and has many restaurants and shops. Free water available, very helpful in summer heat. Best hotel we did during our trip. Would note higher if possible.

Given that the room rates were extremely affordable, I expected no-frills accommodation but was blown away by the quality of our stay. My room was very clean, well-furnished and beautifully decorated. The bed was comfortable, the shower gels felt and smelt really nice, and the amenities (western-style toilet, AC and hairdryer, etc) worked perfectly. The location is also great, away from the noise of the main road but near the food street and within easy access of Wulingyuan Scenic Area. Zhong Chao and Guojun went above and beyond to help make our stay comfortable and convenient. They were always on hand to arrange tickets and rides, patiently answered every random question we had, even had tea with me while waiting for my friend to be ready and helped my friend buy medicine when she got sick. I’ve stayed at many hostels/ hotels around the world, but the service here is by far the most thoughtful, thorough, and sincere I’ve ever received.

The hotel was super nice! I would say the most comfortable bed you could ask for after such tiring hikings! Zhangjiajie National Park routes can be tricky to figure out, but thanks to the help of the staff we’ve been able to plan our activities :) Overall an amazing experience!

Only a 5-minute walk from Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Destination Youth Hostel features private guest rooms and simple dormitory rooms with free Wi-Fi.
