Great location and very helpful recommending restaurants, etc. We loved breakfast on the terrace, and thoroughly enjoyed the meal and watching the fireworks from there on New Year's Eve. Also loved the historic character of the hotel. The room was small but comfortable and everything we needed. (I wrote a previous review based on a different place. So sorry!)

Fantastic location, we took it because of the bus terminal close by. The room was small, but absolutely enough for two people. The bed was comfy, the bathroom was clean. It wasn't noisy in the night. The owner is super nice, she was waiting for us for the check in, she let us store our luggage on the second day. The possibility to use the fully equipped kitchen is a great advantage. Hot water is available in the lobby all day long. Super cute cats on the terraces.

I loved my stay here for three nights. It’s a classic Valpo house, with plenty of character and in a fantastic location. The staff were amazing, especially Hector! Comfortable rooms, a generous and good breakfast, gorgeous terrace and a mirador at the top of the house with an incredible view all across Valpo. Easy to find, easy to get to key sights etc and when I arrived well before checkin I was able to use the communal spaces and then check in early.

Great location and very helpful recommending restaurants, etc. We loved breakfast on the terrace, and thoroughly enjoyed the meal and watching the fireworks from there on New Year's Eve. Fantastic location, we took it because of the bus terminal close by. The room was small, but absolutely enough for two people. The bed was comfy, the bathroom was clean. It wasn't noisy in the night. The building has been really well restored, and is in a great part of town - walking distance to many bars and restaurants, and felt very safe. Secure parking was a major bonus, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

We booked an ocean-view room and it was worth the little extra $$. Got a corner room, with amazing view to the harbor. Room was comfy, and bed was nice and soft, however, every movement by my partner moved the entire bed. The little restaurant in the hotel was great and we enjoyed both lunch and breakfast there. Location was great and hotel had underground free parking, which was a nice bonus.

great reception staff with brilliant recommendations if you choose the room with balcony, a brilliant view of the city at night and when the sea fog clears! very attentive staff and breakfast service make sure you check what days you stay in Valparaiso as Sunday/Monday is very quiet not all restaurants open but staff gave us options. provided secure parking easy to get to most attractions on foot on route 68 a stop off or day trip to Casas del Bosque vineyard is highly recommended.
