Very clean, felt homey, the bedrooms were huge with comfortable duvets and TV's with Netflix and Google Chromecast. The self-service breakfast is HUGE and you can take it between 5-11am. The outside chill area is beautiful with BBQ facilities and a super friendly dog (Luna:). The staff are helpful and the kitchen was full-equipped and always clean. The property is 5 minute walk from the main square and super markets and very quiet to sleep at night. Highly recommend! Also, one of the cheapest places to stay in Santa Cruz

The whole hostel is very lovely with nice and spacious rooms for a good price, a well equipped kitchen and a really nice garden that invites for a chilled day. The location is perfect! Just 2 blocks from the center and supermarkets and with cafés next door. Which made the stay especially worth it was the welcoming staff - If we think back to Santa Cruz we will always think back to Ivan, who really made our stay here worthwile!

This is such a gem of a place. It has a special feeling of tranquility and Mandy and Christian, the owners, make such a huge effort to ensure you have a unique and special stay. On our first evening after a full days travel, we were able to collapse and enjoy a fabulous grazing board and a bottle of wine. Our comfortable room was quiet with its own outside seating area to enjoy the view of the neighboring vinyard and surrounding hills.The garden has shaded areas to quietly read in the late afternoon when you have finished your visits to fabulous wineries.We felt we had stayed with friends and would highly recommend this very special lodge.

This property is absolutely beautiful- the grounds, the buildings. We stayed in a junior suite, the king size bed was delightful after the full sized bed we shared all week, mattress was very comfortable. Breakfast was great - scrambled eggs, warm roles, fresh fruit, meat and cheese. 15 minutes away from the vinyards. We were very happy with our choice!
