Simon is an amazing host . He picked us from airport and showed us around the island. We didn’t hire a car so without him it would be so hard to get around the island. He’s also very knowledgeable about the island . We’ve went on a ride and he talked about each village, some famous for crab , some famous for rugby players.

From the moment we arrived, Vaa and Joliene, the wonderful hosts who manage the property, welcomed us with such warmth and genuine care that we instantly felt at home. Their attention to detail and commitment to ensuring our stay was perfect made the experience unforgettable. The property itself is a slice of paradise. Surrounded by lush coconut trees, the entire house exudes a peaceful charm. One of the highlights of our stay was the close proximity to the beach—just a short walk away. It’s hands down one of the best beaches we’ve ever visited, with pristine sands and crystal-clear waters that made every moment there magical. The house is fantastic—spacious, immaculately clean, and well-equipped to provide a cozy and comfortable experience. The cool sea breeze and the thoughtful layout of the house ensured we were always comfortable. It’s clear that Vaa and Joliene have put great effort into making Are Kapakapa a home away from home for their guests. Another highlight of our stay was exploring the fruit trees around the property. The coconuts were a delightful treat, perfect for a refreshing snack after spending time at the beach. Every aspect of Are Kapakapa reflects the love and effort that Vaa and Joliene pour into their hospitality. The combination of the peaceful atmosphere, thoughtful amenities, and personal touches made our stay truly special. What an awesome place! Room was huge, very clean and had everything you need (microwave, 2 fans, cooking equipment). In addition there was unlimited starling WiFi and a new TV set up with Netflix and more. Loved it, especially on a rainy day. Some of the equipment in the room was brand new (kitchen stove, fan with remote). Niki, the owner, really cares! He also organised a lagoon cruise and provides Kayaks and bicycles for free. It is directly on the beach and you can enjoy beautiful sunsets. Shopping facilities are in walking distance. I had an extraordinary stay! Thank you so much for everything Niki! Loved it!
