It is in a town 12 minutes from St Moritz. (madulain) it was an espectacular experience. I would like to emphasize the attention of all the staff. clean hotel, the breakfast was with good attention and the quality in their food was great with eggs. One day we had dinner, and it was PERFECT, its chef has a restaurant with a Michelin star. and it is the same person who runs the BISTRO restaurant, right there. I think the gentleman at the reception is the owner, he takes care of all the details and is perfection, it is really impressive. They were very kind to put cutlery for my 4-year-old son every day at breakfast. It has a big parking on the side of the hotel. and you feel like with this local experience without noise by tourists. DO NOT DOUBT IT. it is relaxing, we came by car and we went to visit ponterai a and St moritz a very day with no problem, we Lovee to drive because the views of that area are Amazing.

The room was super cozy, nicely decorated (as the whole hotel), really clean. The hotel has an awesome wellness area with three saunas, a chill space with tea, water, and little snacks, plus an amazing view. Breakfast was included, and had a variety of delicious bread from their own bakery which is also worth visiting, as it offers some unique creations. Apart from bakery, there is also a very nice restaurant. The hotel is in a great spot, right by public transport (bus connection to the railway station and neighboring villages), shops, and the whole Engadin cross-country trail network, easy to reach on foot or by bus. They also have a skiing and waxing room, perfect for any cross-country skier. The owners and staff are super friendly, always there to help out with info or suggestions.

This was the most comfortable hotel I have ever stayed in. All the staff are so lovely and helpful to accommodate our requests. The room is really comfortable, the breakfast is wonderful, it is super close to the train station. The stay includes free entry and towels for the local Spa which is an amazing experience in itself which a magnificent view of the mountains. We didn't have any Swiss adapters and the reception were able to lend us one during our stay! We felt so welcome here and will definitely rebook Hotel Donatz in the future.
