We had a lovely stay at the Alicion. Joe and Chris are wonderful hosts and you feel their pleasure and pride in their work. Lunenburg is a great place for an overnight stop, we also enjoyed walking through the neighbourhood to get to the waterfront, where all the restaurants are located.

I had initially booked to stay in Lunenburg, but canceled to stay here, and I'm so glad I did. This is a gorgeous little spot. We were warmly greeted by Marc on our arrival and given a tour of the property. Our room was beautifully decorated and spacious and had a well-equipped kitchenette (complete with microwave popcorn...nice touch!) We all enjoyed playing with the dogs and sitting out on the dock with a drink - my son and I even took a dip in the LaHave. We would definitely come back if in the area.

We had a wonderful 4-day stay in a spacious, well-furnished, and fully equipped apartment. The hosts were warm and welcoming, and every day we were treated to delicious homemade muffins—such a sweet touch! The apartment had a toaster, a small fridge, and all the basics for a self-catering breakfast, but a little kitchen would have made things even better.
