Quiet country setting only 5 minutes from town with fewer guests for a homey atmosphere. The owners were on site and spent time talking to us about things to do and the history of the area. Michelle (the owner) thought of everything - water in the fridge, cups plates and napkins and cutlery, and mosquito repellant so we could sit outside at night, the treats from the local bakery were an added touch. Would definitely stay there again.

Very easy to find and central, self checking with reactive staff online, very modern and comfortable facilities, washing machine, gym, hot tub, drinks and snacks available for free and great recommendations

Everything. Friendly owners, tastefully renovated and decorated rooms, and lots of little touches to make one’s stay as comfortable as possible. Despite being located right on the Cabot Trail, it was also very quiet and peaceful. Best motel of our trip so far.

Located on the edge of town, however Chéticamp is such a long spread out town it doesn’t matter. Lovely basic room, very comfortable, very much appreciated small assortment of chocolate and sweets to welcome us. Nice kitchenette. Best breakfast that we had on our trip. Great find.

Its located very centrally in Cheticamp, with onsite parking. The room is above the restaurant, which was fine as we couldn't hear any noise from below. The views out over the bay were really nice and everything is walking distance. The decor is a little dated inside (there's a CD player haha) but the bed was comfy and the shower/bath tub super large and comfortable! The kitchen is large, with lots of utensils and things if you are cooking. It was walking distance from all the main sites of Cheticamp and the restaurant underneath looked good (though we didnt get to dine there).

Quiet, easy access, easy check-in, quantity, very close to great pubs, restaurants, and activities. Bed was Exceptionally comfortable.

A warm welcome and comfortable bed at the end of a busy day on the Cabot Trail. Our hosts were welcoming, gave us excellent local advice and provided a delicious breakfast.

The Dockside Suite is located in Chéticamp. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are available at the holiday home free of charge. Outdoor seating is also available at The Dockside Suite.

The suite is absolutely lovely and beautifully furnished, with everything kept spotlessly clean. The host reached out via email and was always available if needed, though we never had to ask for anything because the amenities were outstanding. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches – from coffee, dips, and basic essentials already provided, to the wonderful welcome gift waiting for us. It truly made us feel at home right away. We had a great time and the location was excellent to explore Cape Breton, the Cabot Trail and go for a whale watching Trip. We wished, we could have stayed longer than two nights.
