I came to Fazenda do Francês as a stopover on my way to another place and so I only stayed for one night. Now I wish I had stayed longer. The owner Rodrigo is a fantastic host and there was nothing he didn't mind doing for me. The food was also incredible. But the big draw for me was the amazing bird-life in the grounds of the fazenda. I feel like I found a real gem

I like to have balanced reviews but honestly cannot think of anything positive to say about this hotel except the location is convenient if needing a place to stay off the highway.
