I recently stayed at Sponars Chalet for a ski trip, and overall, it was a decent experience. The best thing about Sponars is definitely the value – it's one of the more affordable options in the Perisher area, and for the price, it really delivers a cosy, social lodge vibe. The rooms are simple but clean and warm, which is all that is needed after a full day on the snow. The staff were also super friendly and helpful. If you want a place that’s friendly and reasonably priced, Sponars is a solid choice.

We stayed there in November as a family member was competing in the Ultra Trail 100km race. The location is excellent and the resort is fabulous. The apartment/duplex is well located in the resort right on the lakefront. It has a well appointed kitchen. Beds were super comfortable and bed linen excellent.

It was very convenient! The staff were very good. They helped us as our car had broken down upon arrival. We even got a lift out to Jindabyne’s from one lovely lady because our towed car was in Cooma on New Year’s Eve!

Warm and friendly staff members and very helpful as it was our first time in Snowy Mountains. Breakfast was simple, but good considering the price we paid. The rooms were very nice with a great size balcony and view for the lake. Everything very clean and unique decor, we enjoyed the wild photography.

Hotel had amazing views of the mountain. Though the walk was quite far from the center of town it was also very private and peaceful. We went just as winter began so no one was barely around. Common room with free coffee and snacks with balcony facing the mountain.

The apartment was very clean and comfortable. Good sized fridge, good heating, a window that could be opened, good shower and kitchenette. Good access to ski lockers with one in the apartment building and one in the main centre. Good breakfast included as was parking.
