Absolutely loved this place. Peaceful and quiet what a place to relax. Watching the kangaroos in the grounds of the house. sitting outside in the evening with the firepit just listening to all the different noises was fantastic. I think the name Wonderland Evo escape is absolutely spot on. If we return to the area again and we needed somewhere to stay I would definitely return here.

This was an amazing stay in the forest for us - the kangaroos on our doorstep, the stars from the hot tub, the pool, the breakfast, and the hosts were the most attentive and kind we've ever had. Stunning place to stay - thanks Duncan and Gina!

Lovely little cabin. As the name suggests, surrounded by grey kangas!! Basic but comfy and clean as expecred from YHA. Great showers and a good outdoor kitchen. Fantastic location on the lakeside.

The lodge was beautifully located and so peaceful. The owners were lovely and helpful. Would love to come back for longer.

Wonderful little hotel. We loved our room. It was super comfy. Our room had an updated bathroom, a smart TV (with picture quality that made us realise we should probably replace our own at home). Set back off the main road in Gympie which is now significantly quieter with the Bruce Hwy bypass.( It's also across the road from Alford Park which has a lake with birds and 2.great kids playgrounds, one for littler kids.) Then hotel has a restaurant on site open most nights 6-8. We had room service, getting two of their pizzas which are 11 inches each and absolutely delicious, with very generous fillings. Slept like logs, even my 9 year old who is an early riser. We stayed one night only on our way through and would happily stay again for more nights.
