Easily located next to the highway and fully self-contained. Located approximately 2.5km inland on unsealed road (dirt) from the highway. Very peaceful and did not hear any sounds from the highway. Good amenities and found it easy to cook simple dishes. Lee was fantastic and knowledgeable about the area, she was so lovely to talk to!

Just 1-minute walk from the centre of Miriam Vale, Miriam Vale Motel offers free private parking. Every room at this motel is fitted with a TV and air-conditioning.

We love this place! First of all, we would like to say Thank You to the owner of this beautiful place who made our stop over a memorable one in QLD. My family travelled from WA, drove to Mackay upon touch down, upon return we booked this place along the way. The room was immaculate, I cannot fault it. The location was perfect, waking up with the view & seeing Kangaroos enjoying their habitat. We had a lovely breakfast & also got one of their home-made honey! What a treat from the owner. We highly recommend this place. Please do stay and support this awesome couple. 🫶

Beautiful off grid home, where the friendly owners live next door, and greeted us very warmly. They have put their heart into creating this sustainable and nature oriented gateway. Kangaroos are hoping in the back yard, the family cat will come for some belly scratches, the pool blends in the environment. It’s absolutely charming and super quiet at night. We loved it!

Awesome little set up in nature. Everything about the place was amazing. Nice and quiet with new, clean, and comfortable everything! Definitely recommend if planning to stay in the area.

Karen was super friendly and helpful. Room was nice and clean and tidy and very comfortable. It was very quiet despite being near the highway. 5 min walk to the pub for dinner.
