A charming, well-designed hotel in a heritage building, a bit close to the road, but otherwise perfect for a stay in the region. The rooms are large and comfortable, with a small terrace. There is a un-heated outdoor pool, with excellent sun-loungers in a pretty garden. The best thing is that you are greeted by a herd of alpacas (?) on arrival. The restaurant is high-end, especially the carpaccio, and the breakfast is OK (eggs are available on request).

I loved everything about our stay. The staff is wonderful and very attentive. The room is nicely decorated and the bed is very comfortable. The breakfast was great with lots of options to choose from. The grounds are beautiful. I’d stay here again.
