It was very clean & homely. We were able to relax from a long drive up from Hokitika. Very handy to town. Because the host had an engagement, she texted me in the morning to say she would do an express check for us so we could go straight to our room.

Extremely warm welcome and reception during check-in, even though I arrived quite late at night. The room was very clean and comfortable, and gave a warm, homely impression. Upon check-out, we received some very useful tips and info on what to see/do along the way of our roadtrip.

The property offers excellent comfort, a great view from the terrace, welcoming amenities like freshly baked muffins and milk in the fridge, it is very clean. We would have loved to stay longer. Highly recommend!
