Osaka Bay, Osaka
LIBER HOTEL Osaka features air-conditioned rooms with satellite flat-screen TV in the Osaka Bay district of Osaka. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk and ticket service, along with free WiFi. The hotel has a garden and provides a terrace. Liber Hotel exceeded my expectation. I was just checking hotels close to Universal, and this hotel popped up on Booking with super high marks. And now I understand they really deserve that mark. It's a massive hotel with lots of facilities. Highlight is their sightseeing escalator, you can see the whole Universal. Our room was facing another side and you could see the Ferris Wheel which was a such surprise for me at night time. It's super convenient since you only walk half minute from the train station to the hotel. There's also a 7-11 convenience store about 200 metres away. It's only one station away from Universal or you can choose to walk there too. It's also easy to transfer to other trains to the central of Osaka. Morning breakfast is a little bit pricy, for adult is 4400 yen and kids above 6 years old is 2200yen, but I feel it worth it since the food quality was awesome. The food was variety and fresh, so many options. The restaraunt also has a massive patio you could eat outside and enjoy the view of the harbor. For the ranking, I will give them 10/10.

Guests at Ryokan Nanten-En can try on the yukata robe and relax in the gentle atmosphere created by the shoji paper screens, woven-straw floor and views of greenery. All rooms have traditional shared bathing facilities; Superior rooms include a private toilet. Amazing traditional ryokan with a beautiful garden and super caring staff. Very goos kaiseki dinner and traditional breakfats were very tasty and plentiful. It has hot mineral water source onsen (traditional male/female room separation) and it is open practically 24 hours! So you can go there really at any time you like, even at night, and relax. It almost never happened to us that there were more than 3 people at once and you get to enjoy the beautiful garden view from the onsen all by yourself. The garden is very well cared for and has a careful selection of flowers/trees that make the place photohenic from absolutely every angle. We visited at spring and it was full of roses and cherry blossoms. The rooms overlook the garden it's just really breathtaking.

I recently stayed at Sanada Maru in Osaka, Japan, and it was truly one of the best experiences I’ve had. The accommodation is a beautiful traditional Japanese house complete with a charming mini garden that gives the whole place an authentic and peaceful atmosphere. The house is very spacious and can comfortably accommodate more than 10 people, making it perfect for big families or group trips. Parking is provided, which was very convenient, and the host even offers bicycles for guests to use. We enjoyed riding around the neighborhood and even cycled to the nearby 7-Eleven. The location is excellent—only about 15 minutes from KIX Airport, which makes arrival and departure incredibly easy. What impressed me the most was the host’s honesty and kindness. I accidentally left my G-Shock watch in the room, and the host contacted me immediately and promised to ship it back to me. This truly reflects the honesty and integrity of Japanese people, and I am very thankful. Overall, I highly recommend Sanada Maru for anyone looking for a memorable and comfortable stay in Osaka. I would definitely come back again!

Great location. Lovely onsen or hot spring. Pods were well equipped.
Beautiful traditional ryokan run by a lovely family. The accommodation was just beautiful and such a lovely experience. The dinner fantastic. The onsens were quite busy but the option to book a private Onsen session was great.
11 course menu (Kaiseki) was outstanding, just like the rest of the meals. Everybody was very friendly and accommodating. Received personal advice on what to see in the area. Very quiet, despite train station in close proximity. Hot spring (onsen) can be used almost all day and night. Beautiful traditional Japanese rooms. Would love to stay again.
The hot spring onsen was a bonus. We needed an interconnecting room. The hotel is right outside a metro entrance. Relatively easy to get Osaka Castle, Aquarium and Dotonbori.
