Everything about our stay has been wonderful. The staff did a great job at explaining the whole process to us. The place is super clean as well and the onsen has been great. The best of all was the location of this Ryokan being in front of the JR station, making travelling with and without luggage easy.

I just loved this place. It is right by the station (Nara) which was great after a long flight and train ride. Everything is in close walking distance. I especially loved the pyjama set one is given to wear anywhere in the hotel. And the Hot spring - a hot bath there just before sleep is the absolute best way to get over jet lag. I also really enjoyed the breakfast - it was delicious, with lots of choice and great attention to detail. I was at first reluctant to book auch a big hotel that is part of a large chain, having stayed at quite a few small family-run places in Japan, but to my surprise I enjoyed this just as much.

Great hotel, very friendly staff, especially the English speaking receptionist who booked us in and patiently answered our questions. The Onsen is very nice, and it is the only Hotel I have ever stayed with a free bar! A wide choice of different pillows to take (get in early) and a good breakfast. I would happily go back and think it was very good value for money.

The staff was so Kind and helpful. One of the most beautiful onsens we have ever seen (both, women's and men's outdoor onsen). The river view from the rooms is so stunning you could spend days in the internal balcony space reading and marveling at the emerald green water. The dinner was fantastic too.
