The 3-star ryokan features mountain views and is 20 km from Zenkoji Temple. The ryokan also offers free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. We stayed one night and it was the highlight of our trip to Japan. The location was beautiful, the onsen was perfect, the food was some of the best we’ve ever had, and the hostess, Maki, was so nice and welcoming. Maki taught us, two non-Japanese, the proper way to enjoy a ryokan stay, enabling us get the full traditional Japanese experience. If you are able to book a stay at this ryokan then consider yourself lucky, it is truly wonderful.

Just outside was a bus stop that took you to the ropeway leading up to the Chuo Alps. I would come here again!
