The public baths were wonderful. Outside baths were 2 different scenarios, one was gorgeous with five separate river rock soaking areas overlooking the river and forest, the other was 1 wooden tub in a small pavilion. Women have the beautiful spot afternoon/evening and swap with the men in the morning. Our room was very large and comfortable with a balcony and private soaking tub. The buffet style dinner and breakfast were delicious. Huge variety of freshly prepared foods. All you could eat and drink, beer, wine, various alcohol, sake, in the restaurant. The reception area had a piano, wood burning central fireplace to sit around. There were small tables with various board games, a library, snacks, beer and wine. Comfortable seating overlooking the hillside that was lit up at night. Very romantic spot to go for a special night.
