I stayed in a 4th floor room with private onsen. The room was very clean, and had all the features I could need. The room was very spacious, had a great view of the mountains, and the private onsen was so relaxing. All of the staff I interacted with were very helpful and always so friendly. The breakfast offered every morning was a different kaiseki and featured a variety of dishes and tastes. The location of the hotel is close to many shopping malls, a walking distance from Gion, and accessible to transit (bus & subway). Everything about my stay was wonderful!

This was probably one of the best places I’ve ever stayed in Japan! The onsen was lovely, the service was wonderful, and the view from our room was unbelievable. Not to mention the delicious food (we paid for the breakfast) and the futons themselves were incredibly comfortable.

Everything was top notch, from the shuttle, to the staff, to the rooms, meals and amenities! I was a welcomed change of pace from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo and area. The food prepared at dinner was almost too beautiful to eat, not to mention delicious! We had a private Onsen on our balcony and it was worth the extra money to be able to use it at our leisure. I cannot say enough about it. If given the opportunity, stay here, you won’t be disappointed!!
