The accommodation was set in a beautiful, scenic spot - perfect for relaxation. All facilities were very comfortable and the staff were super helpful. The onsen was incredible after a day off hiking. Definitely recommend this as a stay

everything really, the rooms beautiful simplistic design, the location was perfect next to the Gora station so we didnt have to push our heavy luggage up or down hilly roads (which we many people suffer from) the staff are super friendly, and the restaurant! the food was absolutely delicious! They also had a kids meal for both the dinner and the breakfast menus which was a huge advantage to someone travelling with a child like us, also accommodated and adjusted the meal to include shrimps instead of sausage (since we dont eat pork) so thank you to everyone , from the Reception staff, the cleaning staff to the kitchen staff!

Literally I enjoyed everything in this hotel. From the best, bountiful dinners & breakfasts, through the onsen on your private terrace, incredible coziness and really nice spa area with baths & sauna. I would go back there during my next visit in Japan

We had 2 very relaxing days at Kusatsu Onsen Eidaya. The room was large, the Futons were extraordinary comfortable. The food was amazing. The 3 private Onsen rooms are awesome. Thank you. We will come back.

Definitely recommended! Exceeded our expectations. We had an wonderful time staying in a Japanese room, including traditional Japanese breakfast and dinner. Personnel was kind and helpful, we felt welcome at all times. I would also recommend booking the private onsen before dinner, unique experience at a very reasonable price.
