The onsen was great my friend ate breakfast and was impressed with the service, we were in Kagoshima since our flights were canceled due to bad weather so this was a break on our long holiday and it was perfect the gym was being serviced so we could only use it in the morning but the onsen was great only thing to remember is you cannot get anything to eat at the hotel post 9pm if you are flying in late. The concierge was super helpful in planning our trip out.

The breakfast was also very good. The hot sand bath - sunamushi sakaba - was a new, great experience for us. The onsen area is very large and clean, a nice place to soak after a long day. If you go, enjoy the bar located by the onsen - it's free to hotel guests and the bartender was very kind.

Dinner was a quiet triumph: a Taiwanese set menu that, while simple, was balanced and deeply satisfying, comfort food elevated by care and context. In a final act of kindness, our host insisted on driving us to the airport the next morning, leaving us feeling both spoiled and a little foolish. Because if there’s one regret, it’s this: staying only one night. Next time, we’ll linger. And you should too.
