From the shuttle at the ferry dock, reception, orientation to the Spa, cleanliness of the room and facilities, and welcoming attitudes of the staff to the actual experience of dining, lounging, walking around the facilities and use of the Onsen, we were delighted with the property. The relaxed atmosphere helped after riding the Shimanami Kaido International Cycling event.

The accommodation features luggage storage space and a housekeeping service for guests. Everything! Right from the reception, the amenities offered to the service of the staffs. Rooms were really clean and the in room dining is a must have. We booked the couple room with the en suite onsen and we can directly see the Torii gate from our room. The experience is exceptional. There is also access to the common area with many snacks and drinks provided. One of the most complete experience I have had in a hotel. The price might be on the steep end but definitely worth the experience!

An Asian breakfast is available at the ryokan. The ryokan is located in a geothermal area, with a number of hot springs nearby for guests to relax in. We had an incredible stay! This location is a bit outside of Hiroshima, but very easy to get to by cab or train. The facilities were beautiful, and our room was comfortable with very thoughtful amenities and a beautiful private onsen. The main lobby has bountiful snacks and an incredible sake selection, as well as tons of other beverages that we could help ourselves to as we pleased. Both of our meals were so delicious, much more food than we were able to eat, and our whole party got to share a private dining room with an open hearth. This was truly a wonderful experience, and I would recommend anyone to book here and make the trip!

The staff were so kind and attentive and even drove me from and to the bus station. The food was great and their gift shop was full of lovely items.

The island is accessible by a 10-minute ferry ride from Miyajima-guchi Ferry Terminal on the mainland. The hosts are incredibly kind and helpful, with great suggestions for dinner and tourism!

The ryokan is located in a geothermal area, with a number of hot springs nearby for guests to relax in. The pictures are exactly how it appears in the photos but it’s so much better! The ryokan is beyond amazing. The room, the view and location was spectacular!

The hotel is featured in Michelin Green Guide Japan 2013. A free shuttle is available from Hiroshima Station, a 30-minute ride away. Excellent scenery, and great sea view from the room, excellent top floor restaurant with large selection of great food and great views, very convenient to visit Miyajima as the ferry is right outside of the hotel, staffs are friendly and helpful.
