Our favourite stay of the trip. Like a time capsule, the outside is rustic and the inside is spacious and intact. Rice paper shoji screens and tatami throughout. The owners are absolutely wonderful and the food was the most varied and generous we had. Definitely order dinner, as well as breakfast, but starve yourself for a few days before you arrive.

Great Location! hotel is located right a crossed from Yuzawa JR Station! 2 mins walk right-off the train station which is considering the town-Center. Some Staffs speaks good English which makes some errands a lot easier. THE BATH HOUSE is amazing !!! great outdoor scenery, it’s fabulous to be able to bath in hot spring after a long day of snowboarding!!! and watching fallen snowflakes while bath outdoor. The room is specious and can host family or group of 4. although the interior is a bit dated, but this hotel is totally worth every penny we spend. Post check-out: super friendly. hotel provides free large size lockers to store ur own luggage. BTW, the breakfast buffet is amazing here ;)
