Our favourite place to stay in Oita City. Right by the Amu Plaza and station. Lovely relaxing rooms, with an outstanding and spectacular rooftop hot spring bath and bar, and the delicious locally sourced breakfast and wonderful service. Fantastic value!

Very beautiful place, room is spacious with hotspring bath in the bathroom, staff is friendly as well. There are 2 big open-air private hotspring baths and a foot-bath on the rooftop, there is a free-flow of beer distributor at the lobby. The ryokan is just right opposite the old town, and within a kilometer walk to restaurants in the main street, it's very convenient, we love it!

Galleria Midobaru is absolutely stunning. The whole place feels like a relaxing art gallery, every corner has something beautiful to look at. The atmosphere is peaceful, the design is gorgeous, and the staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. It made the stay feel so special. I’ll definitely be booking again!
