Room size and view from the room were great. Onsen facilities were also fantastic. Lobby snacks were offered to us and were very good too.

The food was great. We could not finish dinner because they gave us so much delicious food like boar and monkfish. Breakfast was also very filling and definitely worth the money because there are not many restaurants in the area. The staff was very nice - giving us a full tour when we checked in and were very friendly and approachable. The public onsen was nice as well as our private one. They made our futons for us in our room during dinner. Everything was clean enough. They spoke very limited English, but had translations pre-prepared for most things. I was able to get by with simple Japanese. They also gave you quite a bit of amenities like shampoo, skincare, aftershave, socks, and water bottles. Overall, our stay was very comfortable and I enjoyed it.

Loved the Location, the japanese style room with futons and of course the hot onsen bath. Breakfast was delicious with local food and the service was just great! They answered every question we had, have good recommandations were to go and Even made restaurant reservations for us.

Great convenient location. Could drive to Nozawa Onsen or Shiga Kogen quickly and easily for ski days. The public bath was fantastic.
