Properties with Onsen in Mishima

Close to shinkanzen and bus stop, so easy to get there, nice room, looked like it was described, clean, nice and friendly staff, enjoyable onsen (especially when I got it all by myself in the middle of the day), peaceful environment, good breakfast, and wheelchair friendly. My room was wheelchair accessible, and there was a small step up to the onsen area, but I managed to get there and enjoy it without help (can only talk about the female section). Good place to stay if visiting the Hakone area, wanting to see Mishima.

View: The view was unreal, especially from 10AM-sunset (early morning can be a bit cloudy, we went in March). You get a full skyline with the shore, the dock, the mountains, the lake, Mt. Fuji, the Torii gate, and the tourist ships that pass by once in a while, from both the balcony AND the onsen bath. It was everything. Food: There is a 7eleven practically across the street with everything (even fishing supplies haha!) and a Lawson about 10 walking mins away (which is also the Motohakone-ko bus stop with routes to downtown (?) / Odawara station & more). The fridge was filled with drinks (incl. a bottle of wine) and a box of food for each person, we got the sandwich box which included smoothies, instant soup, bread, salad, and a very delicious patty that required cooking. Kitchen is fully equipped and packed with cooking supplies though so you should have everything you need even if you want to bring your own ingredients and cook a full meal. There are also some small cafes and restaurants within 15-20 mins walking distance, but we just bought loads of noodles, salads, and rice dishes from 7eleven and stayed in the whole time. Experience: There are just so many ways to enjoy this place round the clock: wake up early for a morning stroll and beat the crowd at the popular Torii gate--yes there will be a 30-40 people line to take pictures with it :) (the place is only 10-15 mins walking from Hakone shrine and the Torii gate, with a beautiful lake-side path!), come back and enjoy the view from your balcony once the sun is up, rest your feet in the onsen footbath while having a coffee, watch a movie in the living room with the huge projector, play with the telescope at night, take a bath in the onsen...anytime (it's always on at the perfect temperature).

Very lucky find: this lovely villa is located in nature, overlooking Lake Ashi, a 10 minute walk down to Moto Hakone promenade with restaurants, shops etc. The home itself is luxurious, with an awesome sauna & hot tub and a large living area with terrace, boasting views of Fuji. We reached it very easily & the host was super helpful to recommend transport, taxi etc. We had a very relaxing time, particularly starting the day with coffee & a view! Everything was spotless and designed to ensure a very comfortable stay. Nearby attractions include the floating Torii, a rope way & lake cruises.

Fantastic property with superb location and view.

It was a bit far,but my Husband and I enjoyed our stay in the hotel, amazing view. The staff were very helpful, clean room, and the food was great .

we particularly enjoyed the degustation dinner with all its different flavours and textures. the onsen with its view on mount Fuji was a blast.

Little too expensive for what it offers, but we would like to return in few years during month of May, when all flowers will bloom. Beautiful view of Mt Fuji from observatory.

The stay was simply perfect. The house was spotless and much more spacious than the pictures suggest. You can feel the love in every detail of the interior,it doesn’t feel like a "hotel" at all, but like a real home, fully equipped for a comfortable stay over several days. The location is also brilliant. I already had high expectations based on the photos, but they were clearly exceeded. No doubt: if I ever come back to Japan, I’ll rent this house again,for that price, absolutely.

Real old Japanese house that you can’t find anywhere else easily!! With the real countryside Bbq time was great!! People are very nice and friendly Next to the cafe which is not open when you check out We have a nice there!
