One of the best hotels we’ve stayed in. The staff were fantastic and couldn’t do enough for you. Facilities were brilliant, loved the free hot or cold drinks and ice lollies. But the best perk was the daily drink on the rooftop with a foot spa and a view of Kyoto. The onsen was amazing, so clean and had everything you need, one with the view was our favourite and it’s great this is rotated between men and women each day. Room was comfy but on the smaller side.

the structure is wonderful; fits perfectly into the context of Kyoto. The Hotel has a wonderful garden. the rooms are quite large and equipped with every comfort. I was amazed by the care towards the customer: every evening there was a gift for me in the room; from cocoa butter to moisturizing mask. The same care was given to my baby; that every evening he found a thought in the room just for him. The restaurant is also family friendly and this is very nice.

Wonderful traditional hotel – highly recommended! The hotel was very beautiful and spotlessly clean, with a charming traditional style. We stayed in room 12 on the first floor, which had its own private garden and a 40°C hot bath just for us, such a special experience! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They even drove us to the next JR station when we checked out, which was a lovely gesture. I can highly recommend this hotel to everyone, it’s something you really have to experience!

Awesome hot springs hotel in Kyoto. Location is good, 10 min walk to the Kyoto Station. Has everything you need in the hotel. Highly recommend the breakfast buffet they got so much food. Appreciate that they give you a passcode for the women’s laundry as well as the onsen to make women feel safer. Whole facility very clean.
